MISSION

The organisation will seek to be a link between previous disadvantaged bulk transporters and public resources in order to strengthen bulk transporters‟ enterprises. It is a recognized and respected representative and proponent of the bulk transporters industry.

VISION

The South African Black Bulk Transporters Association is a trade association of previous disadvantaged bulk transporters acting a an umbrella body as a strategic vehicle to engage business and government on issues that impact on bulk transporters development in the entire value chain, including entrepreneurship.

Contract logistics

SABBTA provide direct services to bulk transporters businesses that include professional lobbyist services to represent our members with government agencies, communications in the form of a monthly newsletter and regular monthly meetings as well as special bulletins.

Bulk Transportation

Among the services planned for the future are: a group insurance medical plan for all members, a group buying plan, bringing the SABBTA members onto the Internet for consumer sales and inter-member product distribution.

Training

SABBTA provides a variety of services to bulk transporters businesses including Labour Relations, Internal (IR) and External Relations (ER), Employee up-skilling and training, SHEQ compliance, Legal compliance, RT operations advise, Technical advise, Rates negotiations, and Financial Advice.

Consulting Services

SABBTA will act as a body that manages and integrates fully compliant, sustainable, profitable black transporters into mainstream business participation. In addition we provide group benefits such as coordinating our members' dealings with insurance companies and distributors for rates and discounts.
